Ashleigh Says.....

"I had the privilege of being part of YOUs fabric project. The cushion for my manual chair is much more comfortable and provides a cool and comfortable seat. I used the other fabric to design my electric chair, so I can be consistent in my design.

I have loved being able to represent my bright bubbly personality through this and it gave me a chance to show me in a new way. It is a great opportunity for people to choose how they want to identify themselves. I really feel this needs to be encouraged as the way equipment etc are produced, it can have a very clinical vibe, however with this opportunity, wheelchairs can become personalised, and encourage people to be who they want to be. Thank you, Y.O.U"

Rebecca (Hannah's Mum) Says.....

"Everyone that knows Hannah knows her for her sunshine
smile and her love of music so it was only fitting that we created her fabric as a bright sunshiny yellow with rainbows and music notes as it really shows off her personality.

The fabric is lovely, soft and buttery and smooth against the skin. It has a nice breathable texture and washes really well with hardly any shrinkage. It also held its colour very well and didn't fade. The cushion insert is also soft and comfortable allowing Hannah to easily manoeuvre herself in her chair as she spends long amounts of time at school. Her helpers at school immediately noticed her new cushion and commented on how bright and "Hannah" it was.

We also have the extra fabric which we plan to make some spare covers and perhaps a few accessories with it - We plan on making some removable covers for her harnesses with them to protect he harness so they are changeable and washable throughout the day. I really love the idea of people being able to customise their fabric for their seats to express their personality ass so much health equipment comes very drab and boring and Danielle is doing an excellent job of enabling people to express
themselves."

"I had a great experience. Throughout the whole process I was kept informed about what was happening at every stage.

When I asked for slight tweaks to be done to my picture that was going to on the fabric there was no problems and I was shown the changes before they were made.

I love my cushion and I will be using it when I go away on a plane to sit on. With the remainder fabric I will use it as a blanket for the wheelchair in the winter or when it starts to get chilly at night"
