"Being Danielle"
In June's Being Danielle, the last edition before a
short summer break, I reflect on my lockdown experience, I reflect on what we have achieved, what we have learned as well as look forward to our aspirations for the future
In May's Being Danielle, I gave my colleagues from In- Control Scotland the chance to put me on the spot to find out more about "the real Danielle" In this edition you will find out why Boris Johnson is my ideal dinner date (not for the reasons you might think) and much more
In April's Being Danielle I discuss Awareness Campaigns that we have on our calendar - some directly related to disability, others not. I also highlight the launch of the Stamp Out The Gap
campaign by Adult CP Hub and advise how you can support this campaign by signing a petition that will hopefully help improve healthcare for adults with CP.
In March's Being Danielle I highlight disability aids that
are available specifically for this market as well as products available on the mainstream market that
can equally assist disabled people in living
independently. I also discuss Y.O.U's view of the design of disability aids and touch on the fact that Y.O.U has developed a prototype aiming to design products that will assist disabled in reflecting their own identity.
In February's "Being Danielle" the viewers have
been asked to submit questions to get to know the real Danielle behind the crazy hair and behind Y.O.U .
In the 1st "Being Danielle" of the year I talk about the importance of having your own identity regardless of who you are and how this can arguably be even more importantly when you have a disability and reply on support
This is Decembers edition of "Being Danielle" broadcast on the 1st December 2020. In this edition I reflected on the challenges and positives of this year including those I faced as a result of the pandemic. I also looked forward to 2021 and the opportunities the New Year may bring.
Being Danielle 6th October 2020 - This is the first live stream of "Being Danielle" that was streamed to my YouTube channel. The 6th of October is World Cerebral Palsy day and as I am one of the 17 million people in the world living with the condition it was important for me to raise awareness on the day that celebrated Cerebral Palsy.
On the 3rd of November 2020 "Being Danielle" focussed on the world going digital in recent months. Specifically I spoke about how this has changed the way in which Y.O.U deliver services and how this has had a positive impact on the connections Y.O.U now has.
