Carrongrange High School
At the end of April 2023 Y.O.U carried out a Dream Plan Live workshop for the staff at Carrongrange High School in Falkirk. This was the first workshop Y.O.U has conducted for the school and was our biggest workshop yet with approximately 100 staff attending.
The Dream, Plan, Live workshop focussed on person-centred planning and enabling staff to use this in supporting their pupils through transition.
Examples of feedback from those who participated in the workshop are below :-
"Everything about the workshop was brilliant... Dr Danielle Farrel was outstanding!"
"The person-centred planning activity showed what it is like for the individual and how I can take the training forward when supporting pupils"
"The training was delivered by someone who actually knows how it feels and how difficult it is to live with a disability"
" Everything was presented great by Danielle. I learned so much, it was fully engaging"

"The trainer provided us with very thoughtful and useful questions to our pupils/ourselves"
" I like the insight Danielle had in her life and how she helped us understand what it felt like to be in that situation. Sometimes we forget the barriers disability can cause"
"I liked the honestly and humour of how the session was presented. I enjoyed learning ways to help the young people I work with and how best to ask the right questions to understand what matters to them. I learned about the importance of actively listening to really hear what an individual is saying about their support needs.... loved it thank you! "
